Aaaaand, I'm back. But I don't feel like writing anything. So, just look upon my latest piece in amazement.
Tada!
Yeah, so there really isn't much to say about this one. My mom asked me to draw it, cause when I was 16 I drew the original in pencil crayon. If you're at all interested at looking at my awful work then click HERE!
Are you back? Good, yeah, see? Awful. But, my mom wanted me to redo it. So I did. I like it much better now. :D
That's all for now.

Cartoonize
I'm such a bad blogger. Hello, blog-verse. Remember me? Why, yes, it HAS been a while, which is probably one of the reasons that I'm talking (erm typing?) to myself. But, just because I haven't been blogging doesn't mean that I haven't be drawing. I've actually been doing a lot of it. I always MEAN to post it. Honest. I just never get around to it.
One of the things I've been doing is making cartoon characters of my friends, and myself. So. . . this is them. I never know how to transition into the illustration. Erm. . . .
TRANSITION!
It's me! In a rainbow straight jacket. I'm sure there is some sort of deep reasoning behind it all, but I wont bore you with the details. I am after all talking (typing?) to myself.
TRANSITION!
This is my best friend. I don't think there's any sort of deep meaning behind her wardrobe choice. She just wanted something Gothic looking. I really like the top hat, and the ruffles were fun to draw.
TRANSITION!
And last, my brother. What can I say about this character that isn't already said in his crazed eyes and beard?
TRANSITION!
These last two aren't real people, but they're in the same style as the last, and I'm just to lazy to make a whole new post for them. They're from a Roleplay I use to be apart of. They became very important to me, and it almost felt like I knew them. :') Ah, MEMORIES!
Anywho, that's all I have for now.
Until next time.

Wall Mural.
So, I moved to a new house, and ended up with the attic of the house. It's a huge room, and I love it, except there is one problem; the entire room is covered in this awful wooden paneling. It's completely uninspiring, and pretty tacky. So, I asked my mom if I could paint a wall, and for whatever reason, she said yes. I immediately went to work, taking my mom's "yes" as permission for free roam.
At first I thought of going morbid and dark, naturally, lots of blood. But, then I started thinking of who would see this wall. Obviously I couldn't subject my three year old niece to that, so I went in the other direction.
Colourful and fun it is!
Quickly I dug out my tablet and doodled an idea down.
So, that was my first draft, the next step was to get my wall ready for painting on. This was my first mural, and I didn't have any idea how to start this thing. So, I asked around at the various paint stores around here. All of them suggested that I put a couple layers of primer on it before I start painting, and that's what I did. After that I bought my colours and began painting. :)
Doesn't look like much yet. I just tried putting down a blue gradient.
Added a swirly effect to give it a "Starry Night" look.
The beginning of the lady. She looks ill right now, and I didn't really go with the yellow skin in the first sketch. My brother walked in when the skin was still yellow and asked if I was painting Marge Simpson, I changed the colour after that comment, and am eternally more happy with it.
Zoom out of the previous picture. The moon has like the first layer of yellow down at this point, that's why it looks a little dark. The yellow paint I got was very transparent, so I had to add a lot of layers to anything yellow.
More work on the lady, and a friendly little cloud is added.
Some stars in the lady's hair, few more clouds, and a rainbow is added to the night scene. My friend saw the rough sketch of this thing, and was like, "Mischa, only you would add a rainbow to a night scene." What can I say? I like rainbows.
Just about done. More clouds are added and some outlining on the clouds and moon, even though you can't really see the moon in this shot.
A close up of the previous picture. LADY!
Finished lady. Decided at the last minute to change her lip colour. I think it looks more pretty in pink. And gave her a rainbow highlight on her back because of the rainbow behind her.
Finished left side of the wall.
Finished right side of the wall.
Me, painting on the last detail. Thought I'd record the last stroke of the paintbrush.
And I'm done! I decided to pose with the wall.
Here's a shot of the overall wall. It was really hard to take a good picture of it. The entire wall is on like a 15 degree angle, and it's a very large wall. The picture really doesn't do it justice.
Anywho, I really enjoyed doing this. I was kind of sad to be finished really, but I love the outcome.
Hope you guys like it.

IF - Spooky
Yay! Another IF post!
This weeks if topic is Spooky. And I'm all about spooky. So, naturally I had no choice but to participate.
I had a bunch of ideas, but I thought a nice cartoony zombie, would do the trick. Zombies aren't really suppose to be cute like this guy, but, I think the guys in the background make up for his lack of 'scary'. Also, the text is suppose to be like a play on the "Subway; eat fresh" motto, something my friend Mia said about a year ago. I thought it was real funny. XD
Aha! I think I might do another for this topic, just because it's almost Halloween, and I'm really in the mood for it. Maybe I could even slip a rainbow in somehow. Now there's a challenge. Well, we'll see what happens. Moving this weekend. ._.

IF - Beneath
Wow, I'm actually posting something! D:
Aha. . . . Yeah, I've been such a slacker on these IF's. But, I thought of a good idea for this weeks topic. The topic being "Beneath".
So, basically I just drew like a giant girl, stomping all over my chibi - aha, I'm so mean to my chibi - with her awesome high-heels.
I'm sure almost everyone has had this feeling at one point or another. Sometimes you just encounter those people who make you feel the size of an ant. Like you're beneath them some how.

Dear Diary
Oh my goodness, it's been so long since I uploaded anything! But my computer broke down, and I just recently got it back from the shop! D: So, here's to me getting my computer back! :)
So, this weeks IF topic was "Diary". I don't keep like a real diary, but I keep a dream journal (that's right, I use the word journal to make it sound less sad). But, anyways, I write down my dreams as soon as I wake up - sometimes while I'm still half asleep - so that I don't forget them. It's not for some reason like I think they can tell the future. They're just funny to read, some of the dreams are real messed up.
Well, I thought maybe I'd share one entry from the journal. Something less... morbid, and more colourful. :)
"So, tonight I had a dream that I went on an adventure with The Doctor (from Doctor Who; british tv show). But it wasn't the real me, as always, I was my alter-ego. Sparkly skin, rainbow-white hair, and all. The TARDIS was different. Brighter than normal. Then again, colours are usually more vivid in my dreams. Anyways, it was sort of like the episode with the star-whale thing. The whale ended up throwing us off, and the whole city was destroyed. We didn't make out alive..." DUN DUN DUN!
Okay, so, that was my actual entry. XD
They're so funny to read sometimes. I like the morbid ones the most. Maybe next time.

Fearless
Hey there! Been a while since I uploaded anything. -.-
Thought I'd get back on the ball with an awesome illustration for IF.
This weeks theme is 'Fearless' thankfully is fits pretty well with my most recent illustration.
I love this movie. And to me, Jack was pretty fearless when he pursued his dream. No matter how twisted the idea was. Even when his friends were a little ify about the idea, he went with it anyways. ^-^
This is going to be the skin of my friends laptop. I like the way it turned out. :)
