Focused

Hello world!

This week for Illustration Friday (IF), the topic was 'focused'. My teacher Leif Peng wants us to participate in IF this week (I totally didn't forget to mention him last post... Heh), so got a jump on it and worked on it all weekend. Even though I was meant to be babysitting... I mean.. w-what? No, I wouldn't do that.



Okay, so if you're anything like my most of my family, you're probably pretty confused (mind you, they really didn't get the concept of IF, so that might of been it). But let me explain... as best I can.
Well, for the word 'focused' the first thing I thought of was reading. Because, I am never more focused then when I'm reading. The world around me just ceases to exist. So I went from there.

The reading girl was the only thing I drew at first. But my brother Wess asked me what I was doing, and we got talking and he jokingly said I should have a bomb going off outside, and the girl unfazed - because that's about how bad it is.
So, I actually liked the idea. Sometimes my brother has some brilliant ideas, (at least to me) even if sometimes they're a little strange at times.

Anywhozels! That's how the idea came to be.

AND! If you're thinking the hair looks weird. It's not just you. I'm not exactly pleased with how it came out, but it's better than my first attempted, which defiantly didn't take me a day to do...
