This time, I didn't put up the first thing that came to mind. To be honest, the first thing I thought of was a scene from "Castaway", when Tom Hanks character is yelling for Wilson (the volleyball), and the ball is just drifting away. I always laugh at that part. XD I'm so terrible.
But after a few days of,
Yes, so... I looked up the meaning of adrift, and I got a few definitions...
-drifting, afloat, cast off, unmoored, aweigh, unanchored
-aimless, goalless, directionless, purposeless
-free, separated, divided, loose, severed, loosened, disconnected, unconnected, disjoined
My research note taking was much less organized than this initially, I just kind of cleaned it up so I could sort of show my thought process a little. The last few were ones I related with most (I think anyone can, really).
This illustration represents how I sometimes feel in society. Kind of like I'm separate. Disconnected. Not quite living in the same reality as everyone else; somehow gone adrift (Yes apparently I see everything in rainbows... XD Gosh I wish).
Amazing! ^^
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that's excellent, Mischa - great illustration, great write up. Thank you. :^)
